Clara Kensie – The Last Ten Movies I Watched

Whether I watched it via Netflix, rental, theater, or my personal DVD collection, these are the

last ten movies I watched:

1. Elf - Watching this movie is a family Christmas tradition.

2. Say Anything - A comfort movie. I enjoy rooting for the unlikely relationship between

Lloyd Dobler and Diane Court. I also love the relationship between Diane and her father.

I actually mention this movie a couple of times in RUN TO YOU.

3. The Princess Bride - Another comfort movie. The romance, the comedy, the dialogue. I

watch this movie at least once a year, but I quote it on an almost daily basis.

4. Strictly Ballroom - Because I love dancing!

5. Pitch Perfect - Because I love singing while I’m dancing!

6. Chronicle - I enjoyed the action and the realistic portrayal of what would really happen if

teenage boys were suddenly empowered with psychic abilities.

7. The Way, Way Back - I love coming-of-age movies, and this one did not disappoint.

8. Beautiful Creatures - I don’t understand why this movie didn’t do well in theaters. I

enjoyed it very much (I also love the book).

9. Catching Fire - One of the few movies I’ve seen in the theater lately. Looooved it!

10. The Sixth Sense - Even though I’d seen this movie before, I still enjoyed that big twist.

The movies from this list that most relate to RUN TO YOU: Say Anything and A Princess Bride

(for the romance), Chronicle and Beautiful Creatures (for the psychic/paranormal powers),

Catching Fire (for the danger and suspense), and The Sixth Sense (for the big plot twist).

About the Author:
Clara Kensie grew up near Chicago, reading every book she could find and using her diary to write stories about a girl with psychic powers who solved mysteries. She purposely did not hide her diary, hoping someone would read it and assume she was writing about herself. Since then, she’s swapped her diary for a computer and admits her characters are fictional, but otherwise she hasn’t changed one bit.
