Story Line: The story line is so unique! I've only read one other book that talks about auras, but I still found this book to be separate from that one. I loved the fact that the scenery changed from her hometown to Ireland. The characters and the mystery to this book just enhanced the story line making it better!
Relationship: Finn and Cora have such great chemistry that they absolutely brought the book to life. The beginning of their beautiful relationship coincides with the beginning of the book, which didn't make the background information boring at all!
Characters:
Cora: Cora's character is very relatable to almost all teens who have overprotective parents. Cora's life is constantly being patrolled by her father for her protection. I loved the fact that Cora's character wasn't one to wait for information to come to her; rather, she went out and looked for answers to the riddles in her life. The quote that describes Cora's situation would be, "It's easy to say you trust a bird in a cage."
Finn: Finn's character automatically drew me in and made me fall for him. He's a hospital volunteer, he's Irish, and he sings!!!! I loved the mystery surrounding his character as well and I would say that he definitely had be fangirling throughout the book.
Overall: This was a very unique and interesting book. I definitely enjoyed reading it and the journey that the characters take. I loved the mystery behind Cora's aura seeing abilities and Finn's sudden disappearance (moving). I cliffhanger at the end of the book will definitely have you wanting to reach for the second book that can't come soon enough!
Rating: I would give this book a 9 out of 10!
